This dress makes me feel like such a lady! I have trouble wearing dresses around the house. It feels so dressy and I don't want to mess them up while dealing with a baby and tidying up. I feel like I should be wearing clothes I can easily move in and that are easy to wash. Am I the only one feeling this way?

With this dress being made out of cotton, which is super washable, I am hoping I will get to wear it more often on day to day basis. Especially as Sophie is growing up and starting to spit up less.

What are your go-to "home" clothes?

When I saw this lightweight cotton fabric I instantly knew it would look gorgeous as a dress and I was planning on drafting one, but Armidale dress was very close to what I had envisioned, so why spend the time I don't have drafting something?

My measurements put me right in between sizes 14 and 16. I went with 16 and I am happy I did. Size 14 would have been a bit too tight for my liking.

I did a broad back adjustment, adding 1/2" (1.3 cm) to the shoulder and back, as well as full bicep adjustment, adding 3/4" (1.9 cm) to the bicep. These are pretty normal adjustments for me, but if you are planning to sew this dress, I highly recommend sewing a quick muslin.
