Well, I can’t believe this is happening. I am about to release my first sewing pattern for babies and toddlers. It really is quite ironic that I am doing this, as when I was pregnant I was certain that I would not be sewing for my daughter. Well, maybe occasionally? But not on a regular basis. Was I ever wrong…
I am still working on a separate website for Blue Darling Patterns and it should be live soon. Fingers crossed… So for now, I am putting the tester call here, on my personal blog. However, Anna-Zoe will remain for personal, selfish, grown-up sewing.
The Misha Vest is a simple vest for your little one. It is the perfect layer for the in-between weather. It sews up fast using a serger or a sewing machine. You can embellish the vest with a heart (easy) or a bear (harder) applique if you chose to. The instructions for the applique are provided in the pattern.

The pattern includes 3 separate files with sizes:
– 3 months – 6 months
– 2T- 6T
– 2T Plus – 6T Plus.

The files are layered so you can print off only the size you need. If you do not like to assemble PDF patterns, it also comes in A2 (3 months – 6 months) and A1 (2T – 6T and 2T Plus – 6T Plus) paper sizes which you can print at your favorite copy shop.
Depending on the number of applicants, the testing will run from Friday, December 6, 2019, to Monday, December 16, 2019. You will have two full weekends to sew the pattern.
You will be invited to a Facebook group where you can ask questions and share progress thoughts and photos (if you want to!). I will be available throughout the testing process to answer any questions and point you in the right direction if you get lost.
If Facebook is not your cup of tea, that’s okay. We can communicate via email instead.
If you are interested, you can sign up for testing here.
Thank you for considering it! And wish me luck!
Love,
Anya

Good luck with this new venture into sewing patterns, Anya! If it wasn’t so crazy for me this time of year, I’d test your cute vest.
